Let’s start with archery. Karla Hinojosa stepped on the podium winning bronze and the Colombian Ana María Rendón arrived second in women’s singles. Luis Álvarez got the gold in men’s singles.

In the marathon, the Peruvian Gladys Tejeda won the race crossing the finish line in 2:33:08.

Hugo Barrette of Canada defeated the Venezuelan Hersony Canelón, who finished with a bronze behind the Trinitarian Njisane Phillip.

In addition, the Venezuelan team won third place in men’s team chase.

Cuba won bronze in rhythmic gymnastics.

In sailing, Argentina was crowned with gold in male windsurfing. Meanwhile, Chile achieved gold in the women’s 49erFX.

In shooting, Cuba won gold in the women’s 50m rifle, while Chile got bronze.

Venezuela defeated Argentina 2-0 in softball. Then, Canada beat Venezuela 2-1 in the final match, the Venezuelans had to settle for silver.

It is the eighth softball Championship win for Canada in the Pan American Games, in eight times. Canada has won softball in the Pan American Games each time the sport has been on the calendar.

Andreina Pinto of Venezuela won bronze in the 800m freestyle behind Emily Overholt of Canada who won the race.

In male wrestling 74kg, Venezuela and Cuba won the bronze medal. In the men’s 86kg, Puerto Rico took the bronze and Cuba the gold medal. In men’s 97kg, Venezuela got another bronze and Mexico also arrived third. And finally, in the men’s 125kg, Puerto Rico and Cuba won the bronze medal.
