We start the day filled with emotions for the Latin participants in the Pan American Games, especially in beach volleyball where the doubles of Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, Uruguay, Chile and Canada obtained a victory.

In soccer, Costa Rica defeated Canada 2-0, while Brazil won by the widest margin of the tournament to Ecuador for 7-1.
In artistic gymnastics, the Colombian Jossimar Calvo obtained two gold medals, achieving victories in the horizontal bar and parallel bars.

In field tennis, it was a glorious day for the Argentinians. Facundo Bagnis won the men’s individual and also obtained a silver in the men’s doubles, being defeated by the Chilean duo Jarry/Podlipnik.

Argentina also won the gold in the mixed doubles with the couple Andreozzi/Irigoyen who defeated the Canadians Philip Bester and Gaby Dabrowski in the finals. Paraguay ended up winning a bronze thanks to Veronica Cepede and Diego Galeano.
