The day begins with archery, where Venezuela was defeated in the battle for the bronze against the United States.
Colombia and Mexico obtained the gold in the women’s and men’s categories respectively.
Cuba defeated Venezuela 73-62 in women’s basketball.

The Colombian Juliana Gaviria took the bronze medal in women’s keirin, while her brother Fernando Gaviria got a gold in the men’s omnium.

Venezuela’s national softball team defeated the USA 1-0 and is 1 game away from going to the final. Tomorrow, it will face Argentina. If they beat Argentina, they will play Canada in the final.

Men’s volleyball started, the first results of the first games were Brazil defeating Colombia for 3-0, having only two players from the team A, which in 2014 won the World Championships.

Among other results, Argentina defeated Cuba 3-1, Puerto Rico surprised us all defeating the United States 3-1 and Canada defeated Mexico 3-0.

In the women’s wrestling 63 kg category, Colombia obtained the bronze and Cuba got the silver medal. In the women’s 69kg category, Mexico won the bronze, Cuba the silver medal and Argentina won the gold. Finally, in the women’s 75 kg, Cuba ended up both with a bronze and a silver medal.

In the men’s 57 kg, Colombia and Venezuela obtained the bronze, while Cuba ended up victorious with the gold. In the men’s 65 kg, the Puerto Ricans won the bronze and Cuba the silver.
